Molly’s Surprise
The war continues to bring changes for Molly—many of which she is not excited about. It’s her first Christmas without Dad, her grandparents can’t come for the holidays and due to practicality, there won’t be exciting gifts to open up. But what’s really bothering Molly and her family is that they have not heard from Dad and are worried.
To make the holiday special, Molly decides they should make their own, unique Christmas with surprises that Dad would make. The children decided to decorate the house and buy their own Christmas tree. But the best surprise is waiting for the family on Christmas morning: a package with gifts from Dad and the opportunity to hear him on the radio!
